Love in view

A view
across the snowfield
into the setting sun.

The colors
so enchanting
that the heart
ignites
with happiness.

How simple
and yet
such a miracle,
when simply the sight
of the natural
let overflow
the waves
of astonishment,
delight,
and love
in our
innermost.

These moments in everyday life,
when the unexpected comes around the corner.
When for a brief moment
your jaw is dropping internally,
because it is simply unbelievable,
what is happening right now.

It may just be a sunset,
just a coloration of the world,
just a little bird,
just a glance,
just one of those many little moments
where something is slightly different.

Moments of grace,
of touch,
of joy,
of love,
that visit us.

And these pearls,
how easy they are to overlook.
How easily they are lost
in the loud chatter of the mind,
in the worries and pressures of everyday life,
in all the moments that don’t shine.

How often they come along
in silence,
in the quiet.
It is easy to pass by,
and an art,
to notice them,
to grant them entry,
to honor them.

Allowing
PRESENCE.
In the simple
magic
of the
everyday.

Allowing
JOY
in the love
that flows around us.
In all the colors,
