THE GATE

Inside the inner child

Deep down
in the darkness,
the hidden realms
of the wounded
inner children,
are lying gates.

Here,
at the points of deepest
despair,
fear,
pain,
powerlessness and
unbearability…
Are lying hidden
the treasures
for which we seeked
so desperately
in the outer world.

Nothing outside can quench
the wounded heart,
nothing outside can heal
the wounds that have been
inflicted here.

This is where we are needed,
with all our patience,
space, love,
magic, discipline
and perseverance…

That these lost children
can be found.
And learn,
again,
through all defenses,
resistance and built-up walls
to
OPEN.

So delicate,
so sacred,
so far removed from
what we know,
they may find
their own
MOVEMENT
again.

May they,
and we,
find,
discover,
celebrate anew
the
LIGHT.

For us,
who are so busy,
challenged by life
with its many
demands,
this is perhaps
the hardest
task.

We are the ones
who have to learn
to find the balance
between clarity, structure
alignment, discipline
and
width, softness,
space, patience,
that these
children in us
need so much,
to finally,
truly experience
HEALING.

Nothing is guaranteed here,
nor is it certain,
what will come afterwards.
It is a
daring path
into the pure,
purifying
NOT-KNOWING.

This is where we stand,
the pain and that
what wants to
LIVE
and look,
negotiate,
allow,
that what we
are not is
DYING.
And how that,
what from this
SACRED CONNECTION
in us,
through us, is
BIRTHED
into life anew.
